Welcome to my website, although now living in Blackpool, Lancashire , I was born in Keswick in Cumbria, moving to the Fylde Coast from Cumbria in December 2017. 

I began my career originally in IT, starting as a support engineer and gradually building up to become a project manager and Transformation Lead.  What I have found is that the analytical approach to problem solving and fault finding elements I have done in IT over the years translates very well to Genealogy and Family History research.

I've always had a passion for history and this led me in my spare time to building my own family tree, I realised that I loved what I was doing and started doing bits for family and friends.  Finally I decided that this is what I really wanted to do, leading me to researching and gaining qualifications so that I can pursue it as a career going forwards.

While I can't guarantee to being able to always find the answers (No Genealogist can) I can guarantee that all my research is conducted and reported in meticulous detail, with full citations explaining where searches were not just successful but unsuccessful as well.
